Orchestral Music in Ableton Live

While Ableton Live is great at a good many things, it is not as well suited to working with orchestral instruments as some of the other DAWs. This doesn't mean that your orchestral music can't sound just as good as it would in any other DAW, it just means there are less features that help speed up many of the typical tasks/workflows of creating orchestral music in a DAW.

The good news is, this means this setup guide is fairly short.

Download and save this Ableton Live project somewhere on your computer and use this as a starting point any time you need to create some orchestral music.
